Broccoli Sprout Smoothie with Apple and Celery
If the thought of raw broccoli in your smoothie has you running in the opposite direction, wait just a minute. I won’t try to convince you of its mighty healthy powers. I will just tell you a secret: you can hide your broccoli in your smoothie. Start with just a bit and then gradually increase the amount to 1 cup of broccoli per serving/smoothie.
Why 1 cup? This amount will give you amazing antioxidant benefits: about twice the daily recommended amount of vitamin C and half of vitamin A. It will also give you plenty of calcium, iron, fiber, phosphorous, potassium, zinc, and magnesium ( like kale smoothie for weight loss with loquat ). Impressed yet?
Hide your raw broccoli in your smoothie because your broccoli hides A LOT of vitamins and minerals within it. Make it a regular habit and it will help you detoxify your body, helping it to be healthy and to fight infection and disease.
