Storage Tips to Keep Your Smores Cookies Gooey & Delicious
You’ve baked up a batch of irresistible s'more cookies – now let’s make sure they stay soft, chewy, and oh-so-gooey!
- Room Temperature is Key: Store your s'more cookies in an airtight container at room temperature. This will help them retain their moisture and prevent them from drying out.
- The Bread Trick: For extra softness, add a slice of bread to the container. The bread will release moisture, keeping your cookies fresh and chewy for longer.
- Freeze for Later: If you want to enjoy your s'more cookies later, you can freeze them! Place them in a freezer-safe container or bag, separating layers with parchment paper. They’ll stay good for up to 3 months. Thaw them at room temperature before indulging.
