Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • Oil for frying
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
  2. Coat the chicken pieces in a mixture of flour and cornstarch.
  3. Dip each piece into the beaten eggs.
  4. Fry the Chicken:
  5. Heat oil in a large skillet or deep fryer.
  6. Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Drain on paper towels.
