I don’t know about your Saturday, but mine was pretty dang good. Weather was perfectly warm and sunny and the day was full of good news and positive vibes. Bright and early, I delivered fresh batches of delicious raw treats for Perth people to enjoy when out and about, went to the farmers market to stock up on fresh produce, ended up at a strawberry farm (definitely not random) to also stock up on more spray-free fruit (strawberries were the main purpose) and veg. Once home, I rolled up my sleeves for a bit of garden work (I enjoy it so much that I feel guilty for calling it work) – among others I planted rosemary and lavender and began sprouting some basil seeds. Patience is a virtue. Patience is a virtue.
Once all weeds were removed and plants were planted, I decided it was time to reward myself with something good, that celebrates nature in its most delicious form. This anti-inflammatory fruit boost infused with rosemary is one of the bestest smoothies I ever made. True fact.
It provides you with temporary joy, goodness filled energy and a glassful of nutrition and anti-inflammatory properties. It is perfect for an afternoon pick me up but I reckon it would make you happy in the morning too.
